Vakar internetā nejauši atradu divus dažādu kritiķu "HP & the Deathly Hallows" skarbos vērtējumus.
Tātad linki uz kritiķu atsauksmēm: 1) Review of "Deathly Hallows" by Daniel Hemmens at FerretBrain: Part 1 Part 2 2) Harry Potter and the Qualified Recantation Andrew Rilstone Veiksmi diskusijās!
Harry (..) manages to take out about half a dozen of the pursuing Death Eaters with Stupefy and Impedimentia charms, which they are clearly incapable of blocking. Tas man arī patika kā skolas puika atslēdz nāvēžus, nu būsim reāli tās taču ir killing machines un pat, ja viņiem ir dots uzdevums "nenogalināt, bet sagūstīt" (jo Voldemorts is meant to be the one who kills Harry Potter), pat tad, tas ir nereāli. Note that since Harry is "still under the Trace," his use of underaged magic should have immediately notified the Ministry to his presence, allowing them to track him trivially. After all, that's why they couldn't just Apparate out of there in the first place. Right? It's so lame. I wish I'd had JK Rowling to explain death to me when I was a child. (..) This would all be fair enough, but JK then insists on making it very clear to us that there is Death happening and that Death is a very important part of the book, because it's important that children be told about Death. (IMG:style_emoticons/kurb_gaiss/silent.gif) So Bill and Fleur are getting married. We spend an inordinate amount of time talking about this. Mrs Weasley is entirely preoccupied with it. Presumably because she's a woman and therefore doesn't understand important things like war, death, and her son losing an ear. (IMG:style_emoticons/kurb_gaiss/xD.gif) Everybody gets ready for the wedding. Because a wedding is exactly what you should be thinking about when a Nazi wizard with no nose is taking over the world. (IMG:style_emoticons/kurb_gaiss/xD.gif) Kāzas patiešām ir nepieciešams rīkot tieši tad, kad notiek karš. Protams, tas parāda, ka kaut kur ir karš, bet mēs te cenšamies dzīvot normālu dzīvi, bet nu come on! (..)By "but I know the theory" she of course means "I mind-raped my parents into thinking they were completely different people who wanted to move to Australia, and by the way I told you ````ers that - like - two chapters ago and you didn't offer me any support or sympathy." (rofl) Hermione nekad nav mēģinājusi iztīrīt atmiņu, lai gan darīja to divas nodaļas iepriekš. Next to Sirius' room is the bedroom of ... wait for it ... Sirius's brother: Regulus Arcturus Black. It's a good thing that he put his middle name on his door really. And a good thing that no two people in the entire Wizarding world have the same initials. Harry could still see the blond-haired youth's face, it was merry, wild. Harry thinks it sounds familiar, but can't think from where. Clue: it begins with "P" and ends with "Revious Chapter". Harijam ir grūtības atcerēties, ko viņš redzēja iepriekšējā nodaļā, bet vēlāk viņam nesagādās grūtības atcerēties sīkumu, ko piefiksējis trešājā (?) grāmatā. Lame. Indeed, one might almost suggest that the best way to appreciate JK Rolwing is to take her chapter titles and imagine for yourself what actually happens in them. Hmm ... I wonder if any fanfic communities have tried that: re-imagine Potter based only on the chapter headings. Bet šitā bija laba ideja - uzrakstīt stāstu, kādu tu iedomājies HP grāmatu, izlasot tikai virsrakstus. Varētu sanākt kas labs. So Ron Disapparates out of the Tent Of Pointlessness, and I sincerely wish I could go with him. But it's book seven for crying out loud, and Harry has only just gone back to Godric's Hollow? Vismaz uz Albāniju būtu aizdevies (IMG:style_emoticons/kurb_gaiss/w00t.gif) Voldemort would have won his war in eight seconds flat, bent the Wizarding world to his will, triumphed over all resistance, danced on the grave of Albus Dumbledore, achieved immortality and subjugated mugglekind with ease if he had just been willing to let go of the whole "I have to be the one to kill Harry Potter" thing. So true. (IMG:style_emoticons/kurb_gaiss/xD.gif) For some reason, we are supposed to associate the "Silver Doe" with Lily Potter. I'm not sure why. Okay, so James was a stag. Does Lily have no identity of her own? Tāpat kā Džinnijai nav tiesību lemt savu bērnu vārdus. (IMG:style_emoticons/kurb_gaiss/silent.gif) Voldemort won't let his minions kill Harry, because he's "supposed" to do it, Harry can't ask for help defeating Voldemort because he's "supposed" to do it himself, and now apparently Ron is "supposed" to destroy the locket. What. The. ````? Jup. That's it. You got the point. At least we are supposed to love this book but I don't. Then Ron explains that he managed to find them because the Deluminator, as well as being able to switch lights out, also lets you find your way back to your friends after you ditch them in the middle of their epic quest. (IMG:style_emoticons/kurb_gaiss/xD.gif) I mean foresight is one thing, but are you seriously telling me that when he created the Deluminator, however many decades ago that was, he thought to himself "hey, I'd better install a 'be able to find your way back to your friends for no readily explicable reason' function as well, because one day in the next century, three young wizards might be on a quest to destroy Voldemort's Horcruxes, and one of them might leave, and need to find his way back. So true. Pārāk daudzas "nejaušas" īpašības, lai uzturētu plotu. Pārāk daudz krutu lietu, kas paredzētas tikai, lai bīdītu uz priekšu notikumus. And it's shit like this that makes me really hate JKR's attempt to make Dumbledore into a "complex" character in this book. You simply can't have it both ways. Either he's a real human person who makes mistakes, or he's the infallible plot god who is so wise, so possessed of absolute foresight, that he manages to predict correctly that Ron will fall under the influence of the Locket Horcrux, leave the quest, want to return, and be unable to do so because Harry and Hermione are travelling the country in a magically protected tent. (IMG:style_emoticons/kurb_gaiss/xD.gif) Guru Dumidors arī ir tikai cilvēks. Tikai kāda velna pēc tad viņš tur spēja visas figņas paredzēt un nespēt izdzīvot? Dumbledore is infallible when he needs to do something amazing to advance the plot, but All Too Human when Rowling wants to impress us with how layered and complex her characters are. So true. "Are you referring to the sign of the Deathly Hallows?" We're on page 328. For comparative purposes, the original Philosopher's Stone (UK Edition) ended on page 223, Chamber of Secrets on 251, and Prisoner of Azkaban on page 317. So you could read the whole of the first book and half of the second in the time it's taken us to get to the goddamned title of this one. Jap. That's it. (IMG:style_emoticons/kurb_gaiss/silent.gif) So anyway, Harry is all "these things totally exist, we should totally ditch our current quest to go look for them" and Hermione is all "these things totally don't exist, we should totally not ditch our current quest to go look for them" and Ron is all "these things might or might not exist, and I don't know whether we should ditch our current quest to go look for them or not." Bets on the Hallows being real, everybody? (IMG:style_emoticons/kurb_gaiss/xD.gif) And again we are: Still. Sitting. In. A. ````ing. Tent. (IMG:style_emoticons/kurb_gaiss/xD.gif) Harry is tied up, but fortunately they have an old piece of nail, which makes short work of any pesky ropes you might happen to have lying around. Visas virves ir viegli atdarāmas visās filmās ar nagu vīlīti, un Harijā tāpat. Everything works according to these stupid rules which operate on the basis of pure plot-convenience. Like the poison in Book Six which "has to be drunk" in order to get at the Horcrux. All throughout this book, the "magic" is arranged so that the "only thing to do" is whatever the hell JK Rowling wants to have happen next. It's ````ing lazy. Piekrītu. Actually, thinking about it, wouldn't that have been a better, faster way to get the Horcruxes together: just get a True Ravenclaw, a True Hufflepuff and a True Slytherin to yank the damned things out of the Sorting Hat. Except, of course, that wouldn't be the way it Had To Be Done. Laba doma, bet, protams, cepurē jau dzīvo tikai grifidoru I mean seriously, how many times can somebody get rescued from their own ````ups by smarter more capable people and still be considered a hero? (rofl) He finds it in the shape of the Grey Lady, ghost of Ravenclaw tower, who reveals that she is actually Helena Ravenclaw, daughter of Rowena Ravenclaw. Wow. Words cannot explain how little I care about that. She also reveals that she stole her mother's diadem, and that she hid it in a tree in Albania (the very Albania where Voldemort once went! Amazing isn't it). Harry suddenly remembers that he saw a diadem in the Room of Lost Things in the previous book (funny how he can remember that, but not - say - things that happened two chapters ago). Like I said - he is a chosen one. (IMG:style_emoticons/kurb_gaiss/silent.gif) While Harry is doing this, Ron and Hermione dash of to have sex in the Chamber of Secrets, which Ron manages to open by imitating Harry's use of Parseltongue. That's right folks, the magical language Harry carries in his soul as a result of his connection with the Dark Lord can be picked up by any schlub who pays attention for five minutes. (IMG:style_emoticons/kurb_gaiss/smile.gif) So it turns out that Harry isn't dead after all, because of the Very Special Bond between Harry and Voldemort, but Voldemort did ironically manage to destroy the fragment of his soul which was inside Harry all this time. Kārtējā reize, kad viss strādā tieši tā, lai virzītu notikumus uz priekšu. Every single man, woman, and child in Hogwarts is risking their life to defeat Voldemort. Every single one of them is confronting death (or, if you prefer, "Death") and every single one of them has accepted that there are far worse things than dying. But their sacrifice doesn't count, because they're actually fighting, which is to say, they are trying to survive. In the new morality Rowling wants us to accept, the only true way to show courage is to lie down and just accept death. (..) Why the ```` is Harry's sacrifice more significant than anybody else's? Why did Harry's "willingness to die" create a special magic forcefield around Hogwarts, but not the willingness to die of every single other person in the damned school? Because he is..wait for it..wait for it..THE CHOSEN ONE! I mean compare Narcissa - whose first and only concern is for her child, so much so that she risks defying the Dark Lord who, let's face it, isn't exactly known for his forgiving nature, just to know if he's alive or dead - compare her with Lily Potter, who just moments ago was cheerfully watching her son go to his certain death. Nabaga Harijs, viņam jebkurā gadījumā būtu grūta bērnība ar māti, kas priecājas, ka viņš mirst. So Voldemort carries Harry's "dead" body to the front lines and does his big "ha ha, I've won you bunch losers" speech. Cik tipiski (IMG:style_emoticons/kurb_gaiss/grin.gif) Of course with the Dark Lord fallen, his entire army disperses without a word. Un visi slīdeņi (kuri ir ļoti ļoti ļauni) ļoti ļoti nožēloja savus ļoti ļaunos grēkus. Back when I read The Order of the Phoenix, one of the few things I liked about it was the fact that Ginny seemed to have got over her crush on Harry. I thought that it was a refreshingly subtle, and subtly mature message to put into a children's book: sometimes you just get over people. Šo es nebiju piefiksējusi, bet atzīmēju pie citātiem, jo man patika doma. Dažreiz tā patiešām ir labāk. I also find it more than a bit offensive that Ginny (who we learn in this interview goes on to be an international sports superstar) doesn't seem to get any say in naming her own kids. I know it's an epilogue, I know it's sweet and everything, but her brother died at Hogwarts as well. Bet Harijs..taču ir THE CHOSEN ONE. (IMG:style_emoticons/kurb_gaiss/huh.gif) Vienvārdsakot, es ļoti smējos šo recenziju lasot un daudzviet tās autora domas sakrita ar manām. Man nepatika Nāves dāvesti un esmu to jau teikusi iepriekš.
