Ar sirdi es varēju redzēt cilvēku vai priekšmetu no iekšpuses, uzzināt to vēsturi.
Šis atklājums bija līdzvērtīgs sirds atdzimšanai zem ledus vesera sitieniem.
Taču, ja pēc tiem sitieniem mana sirds vienkārši atdzīvojās un sāka just, tad tagad tā jau prata ZINĀT. Un es nomierinājos.

Pa durvīm ienāca, pareizāk sakot, iepeldēja melnā apmetnī tērpta zaļacaina būtne. Viņa nolaida kapuci un pār pleciem nolija rudu matu vilnis, kas iekļāva viņu gluži kā ietvars. Pārlaidusi telpai skatienu, viņa sameklēja brīvu galdiņu telpas tālākajā stūrī. Matiem viegli plīvojot viņa devās tā virzienā, lai arī vilkace, viņā bija kaut kas kaķisks. Apmetim pašķiroties bija redzams tikai tumši sarkans siluets.
Endijas acis pievērsās diezgan aizraujošajiem notikumiem zem viņas. Patiesībā tās izpletās tik ļoti, ka bija sajūta acu āboli sasals un izkritīs no dobuļiem.
- Vēl divi priekšmeti, ko Kerijas asā redze varētu noturēt par zibsni.
Nedaudz sarkastiski iesmējusies, meitene pagrieza ugunsbultu par 45 grādiem un palidoja uz priekšu, lai labāk pārredzētu notikumus. Izskatījās, ka mazie grifi sākuši attiekties nedaudz agresīvāk. Tiesa, tā varēja izpausties arī bailes. Spēles tiesnesis meitenei pagaidām patika, kā lai nepatiktu, ja viņš sekoja spēlei līdzi ārkārtīgi uzmanīgi, pie reizes neuzliekot sodus slīdenim. Skatiens joprojām uzmanīgi meklēja zibsni. Šķita, ka ar katru nākošo mirkli viņa nevis piekūst..
