Greetings ladies and gentlemen!

Thanks to Google translator I managed to work my way through registration and topic creation. Since I do not speak Latvian and have a hard time using this forum as it is, I appoligize beforehand if I break any rules or regulations by creating this thread.

This seemed a place where a lot of Latvian larps get advertised and many players seemingly meet. So this was a natural place to put my ad. If this is the wrong place, feel free to move or even delte the thread (but if you do delete it I would appreciate it immensely if you would also point me in the right direction)

---

Greetings from Estonia!

We have had some contact with Latvian players before and groups from Latvia have attended our games and vice versa.

Therefore I am extending an invitation to any and all Latvian live action role-players, to join in one of the bigger larping events in Estonia - a game called "Nordic Equinox".

The game is not huge by international standards, maybe 150-200 players, but it is big enough to give ample opportunities to mingle and experience a foreign gaming style. The participation has been increasing year-by-year, this is the 7th year for the event. It is also a great possibility to forge connections and promote your own games, we are not so far apart.

Nordic Equinox focuses a lot on combat and battle so if you are a fighter, it will guarantee many many good fights, both smaller and larger engagements. The game is a pseudo-medieval setting with a unique and flexible background, allowing you to either create a new character or bring any of your favorite characters, regardless of their background. Be sure to check out our website.

The game will take place in September, in the beautiful ancienta park of "Kassinurme" in Estonia, with picturesque hills and forests, small ponds and a real timber castle, built especially for role-playing purposes (see pictures on our website).

The official game language is Estonian. But majority of the players have no trouble at all conversing in English, and a lot of us speak fluent Russian. In addition, every single bit of relevant information is available in English, so you will get exactly the same amount and detail of information than local players. The games webpage is extensive and should contain everything you need

So give it some thought while you check it out, at:

or visit our Facebook page and drop us a line there, at:

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email or even call me. I will be more than happy to help you in any way. (I speak both English and Russian)

Even if you can not or do not want to come, I would kindly ask you to pass on the invitation to others who might. I am not familiar with Latvian gaming community and connections. In turn if you want to invite Estonian players to your events, go ahead and send the invites and details to me, I will make sure they reach the majority of Estonian players.

Sincerely Yours,

Allan Bernard
